Drum Brake Spring remover
If you’re going to work on drum brakes and have the pliers style spring remover with the curved hook, you’re going to be frustrated. Many of the newer style drum brake springs are small with tight radius hooks. It’s hard to get that pliers style tool hooked onto them. This new T-handle spring
remover from Lisle is the answer. Hook it onto the straight portion of the brake spring ahead of the spring hook. Then tighten the tool’s retainer and pull. The spring comes off right away.
