Which crimping tool is best
If you’re adding electrical accessories to your vehicle and plan on using crimp connectors, this is the tool to own. Most crimping tools make a 1/16-in crimp. That’s a lot of stress to place on such a small portion of the wire. In fact, many times the crimping tool can actually cut the wire in that spot. So pony up a few bucks and buy a professional crimping tool. This S&G tool makes a full 1/4-in wide crimp to spread the stress across a much wider area. You’ll get a much better connection.
