Fix trouble codes p0130 p0150 on Ford F-150 trucks
Ford has issued a service bulletin #12.6.16 to address oxygen sensor codes on 2009-2010 F150 trucks with the 5.4L engine. The 2009 F150 p0130 p0150codes are
P0130 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank I Sensor 1)
P0150 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor I)
If you scan the PCM and discover BOTH codes, do NOT replace the oxygen sensors. This is a software issue and Ford has released a software update to fix the problem. Take the vehicle to a dealer or independent shop that has reprogramming capabilities and have them install the latest software. This is NOT free. Shops charge for this service and the fee usually runs a bit under $200.
