Chrysler Pacifica Lower Control Arm Separates — recall

Chrysler Pacifica Lower Control Arm Separates — recall

Chrysler has issued a Pacifica Recall 19V143000 for Lower Control Arm Separation. The recall affects 47,771 vehicles built starting November 2017 and ending Feb 2018. The control arm separation can result in the control arm separating from the steering knuckle which could increase the risk of a crash.

What Chrysler will do for the recall

Chrysler will replace the lower control arm pinch bolt with a bolt of a larger diameter to prevent the arm from separating from the ball joint. The repair will be free.

Contact your local Chrysler dealer to make an appointment for the Chrysler Pacifica recall service. Refer to Chrysler Recall V15. If the dealer isn’t aware of the issue, contact customer service at
1-800-853-1403.

You may also contact National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.
