Dead battery GM vehicles

GM has issued a service bulletin 10-08-50-001 to address dead battery problems in the vehicles listed below with heated seats. The condition may be intermittent or full time and appears as a dead battery, low battery, no crank no start condition. GM has determined that the heated seat module is the cause of the battery drain. Do NOT replace the module. GM has released a software update to reprogram the module and force it to shut down once the vehicle is turned off.
Any GM dealer or independent shop can perform the reprogramming. This should cost less than $150
