How to torque the intake manifold on a 2013 Ford F-150

Here are the torque specs intake manifold and procedure for a 2013 Ford F-150 with the 5.0L engi4, use this is a two stage process. You’ll need a torque wrench rated in INCH pounds

Digital torque wrench

and a torque angle gauge. Follow the tightening sequence below

  1. Hand tighten each of the bolts.
  2. Then use your torque wrench to tighten each bolt to 10 Nm or 89 lb-in.

Remember, that’s INCH lbs, not FOOT lbs.

3) Once you tighten every bolt in the pattern, attach a torque angle gauge and rotate each bolt an additional 90°.
