Diagnose and fix Ford B2278

Ford has issued a service bulletin #14-0016 to address a Ford B2278 Steering Shaft Torque Sensor Malfunction issue on the vehicles listed below. The bulletin advises replacing the Steering Shaft Torque Sensor with parts CL8Z–3F818–A Torque Sensor Kit and W712250–S437 Bolt Upper Column (2 Required).

Before you proceed with the repair, check for power and ground to the power steering control module, following the directions in this post.
