Ford grinding clicking sound from wheel area

Ford has issued a service bulletin 20-2307 on the vehicles listed below to address a Ford grinding clicking sound from wheel area on vehicles equipped with the Torque-On-Demand (TOD) transfer case.  The vehicles listed below with the TOD transfer case may cause a grinding/clicking/ratcheting noise from the front wheel area. This may be due to partial engagement of the integrated wheel ends (IWE). To correct this condition, follow steps to remove and cap the vacuum supply line.

1. Locate the vacuum supply line to the IWD check valve.
2. Remove and discard the vacuum supply line

Cap the supply port and the IWE check valve with caps from #W716372-S300 Package Contains 4 Pieces, 2 Pieces Required per side
