What Hyundai will do about the Hyundai engine fire issue
Until such time as replacement modules are available, Hyundai will install a lower rated fuse that will interrupt the power to the ABS module to prevent it from overheating and starting a fire. Then, Hyundai will replace the ABS module with an updated design.
Can you drive your Hyundai Genesis in the meantime?
Yes, but don’t park it inside a building in case it starts on fire.
