Hyundai Genesis Windshield Recall

Hyundai has issued a safety-related Hyundai Genesis windshield recall for improperly bonded windshields and rear glass. Hyundai has found that the bonding strength for the front and rear glass reduces over time, causing visibility issues. The windshield and rear window might detach when a person is driving. Hyundai has concluded that the problem is related to using an incorrect primer.

The recalls are expected to start June 30, 2018.

Owners of these models will be notified by Hyundai about their recall and dealers will replace the windshield and rear window glass free of charge.
