Hyundai P0605 service bulletin 13-FL-001
Hyundai has issued a service bulletin 13-FL-001 to address a Hyundai P0605 Internal Control Module Read Only Memory (ROM) Error trouble code on the vehicles listed below. Hyundai states that you should inspect the following items before automatically replacing the PCM.
Possible cause of Hyundai P0605
Inspect the engine coolant temperature sensor and wiring harness
Inspect the MAP sensor and turbocharger boost sensor (MAP sensor #2 for Turbo engines)
Check for any exhaust modifications.
If Hyundai P0605 and P2105 are the only two codes present and the sensors check out, then replace the PCM. P2105 Throttle Actuator Control System-Force Engine Shutdown
