Low beam Headlights don’t work

Low beam Headlights don’t work

headlight pigtail, headlight connectorGM has issued a service bulletin 10-08-42-001C  to address a headlights don’t work problem on the vehicles listed below. If you’ve replaced the bulb and still the headlights don’t work, check the condition of the connector. If you see discoloration or melting, replace the connector with the revised pigtails shown below. Splice in the new pigtail using only Duraseal splice sleeves (salmon, P/N 19168446). Other splice sleeves may not protect the splice from moisture or provide a good electrical connection.
Cut the wires approx. 1-3/4-in. from the connector. Then splice in the new pigtail (parts numbers shown below) using the splice sleeve. Install new headlight bulb and test.
