No crank no start – Chrysler minivan
My engine won’t start – No crank no start – Chrysler minivan
If you have a no crank no start problem on a Chrysler minivan or if you jumper the starter and it still does not start, focus your attention on the camshaft and crankshaft position sensors.
Here’s how to test them. It’s common for the wiring harness to these sensors to short out. They receive 8 volts of power and a 5 volt reference signal from the PCM. If the the 8 volt power is shorted out, the PCM will appear dead.
Unplug the connector at each sensor and test for 8 volts and the 5 volt reference signal. Then check for ground. See wiring diagram for wire colors.
