P0340 Dodge Neon
Shops are reporting that customers have replaced a camshaft position sensor (CPS) due to a P0340 Dodge Neon. Upon replacement, the code reappears. In most cases, the customer has installed an aftermarket sensor. When replaced with a factory sensor and the codes are cleared, mechanics report that the problem trouble code does not return.
