Security Light On, Engine Will Not Crank, B2958, B2960

GM has issued a technical service bulletin (TSB) #04-08-47-003 regarding anti-theft system failures on Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The issue shows up as a security light on, engine will not crank, and trouble codes B2958, B2960

The issue occurs on:
2000-2005 Chevrolet Impala, Monte Carlo

The most common cause of these failure is a faulty Body Control Module (BCM) or loose terminals. Damaged or loose terminals can cause the security light to illuminate and cause a no crank condition. Check the following wires for good connection to the BCM

BCM connector C1 (24-way, pink in color), terminal B9 (white wire, circuit 1459)
BCM connector C1 (24-way, pink in color), terminal B12 (black wire, circuit 1835)
BCM connector C2 (24-way, grey in color), terminal A3 (yellow wire, circuit 1836)
