Lucerne tire pressure sensor reset procedure

If you own a Buick Lucerne and need to do a tire pressure sensor reset, follow these instructions

Typical tire pressure sensor

2005-06

Set the correct air pressure

Place vehicle in park with foot OFF the brake pedal

Turn IGN to ON, but do not start engine

Press the vehicle information button until you see

TIRE INFLATION MONITOR SYSTEM PRESS

SWITCH TO RESET is displayed

Press and hold the down/left arrow until

TIRE INFLATION MONITOR SYSTEM HAS BEEN RESET is displayed

If you’re resetting due to a tire rotation. Hold the down/left arrow button for 5-secs.

Release the button and you should see TIRE PRESSURE NORMAL on the display

2007 and up

Requires a TPMS tool to perform a recalibration. Any tire shop can perform this procedure for you
