Sticking window Buick Lucerne
Buick Lucerne window sticks
You may have a Sticking window Buick Lucerne 2006 window. The sticking window Buick Lucerne happens in freezing weather. Blame it on the glass freezing against the outer window strip. You would think this would be a no-brainer—to design a weatherstrip that doesn’t freeze in cold weather, but GM did it. The problem occurs most often after a car wash or rain (surprise!). Here’s the fix: Get Part #10361111 window stabilizer. Remove the outer sealing strip. Use a small knife (Xacto) to separate the lower strip from the molding. Clean the glass and apply Aquapel Glass Treatment to the window to help repel water. Then reinstall the outer sealing strip. Next, remove the inner sealing strip and install the stabilizer on the inner belt sealing flange. Reinstall the inner strip. Test
GM fixed the problem after VIN breakpoint 6U206580
