Cause of keyless door lock fob doesn’t work
GM has discovered that all of these symptoms could be caused by a pinched dash harness. The pinch occurs between the left instrument panel-to-dash mounting bracket and the body. The pinch can be difficult to see if the harness is damaged. Make sure the harness can be moved freely away from the bracket to body interface.
Fix for Keyless door lock fob doesn’t work
Loosen the left instrument panel dash mounting bracket bolts and pull the harness free. Then open the harness and repair any damaged wires as necessary.
