C0010 ABS TCS light on

C0010 ABS TCS light on — cause

GM has issued a preliminary service bulletin PIT5696B to address a C0010 ABS TCS light on situation on the vehicles listed below.

GM has determined that C0010 ABS TCS light on can be set by the driver when the vehicle is moving forward while the driver is shifting to reverse. This behavior is most often caused when the driver is performing a 3-point turn maneuver. If the C0010.5A trouble code is the only code stored, advise the driver to wait until the vehicle is completely stopped before shifting from drive to reverse or vice versa.
