Diagnose and fix Caravan door locks not working

Chrysler has issued a service bulletin 23-017-20 GROUP: 23 June 4, 2020 to address a Caravan sliding door locks not working on the vehicles listed below. The problem appears when either one or both of the sliding door locks do not work to lock or unlock the doors. In addition, you may hear a loud buzzing noise during the lock/unlock operation.

2016 – 2017 (RT) Chrysler Town & Country
2016 – 2017 Dodge Caravan

This bulletin applies to vehicles built on or after November 01, 2015 (MDH 1101XX) and on or before June 30, 2017 (MDH 0630XX)

Fix for Caravan sliding door locks not working

Chrysler has issued updated door lock actuators.

How to replace Caravan sliding door locks actuators

Remove the door trim panel

Remove the door lock actuator and replace.
