Hyundai Transmission Fluid Specifications, Gear Oil Specifications

Hyundai has issued a service bulletin 20-AT-010H to update factory recommendations for Hyundai Transmission Fluid Specifications, Gear Oil Specifications

Hyundai warns that the fluids listed are the ONLY fluids recommended for their vehicles. Hyundai does NOT approve of ANY aftermarket or universal “all makes, all models” fluids. Further, the service bulletin warns that “Use of other ATF, DCT or IVT fluid may result in improper shift, drivability or durability issues. Also, Hyundai does not approve of any aftermarket additives.

NOTICE: SP-III and SP-IV-RR are NOT interchangeable. SP4-M supersedes SPH-IV

All of the vehicles listed below require ATF SPII. The fluid level must be checked with the transmission in park or neutral and transmission fluid in the 158°F-176°F temperature range
