An AC Schrader valve can get clogged with debris and cause the loss of refrigerant. The only fix is to replace the valve. You can replace a leaking AC Schrader valve yourself without having to evacuate the entire system.

The AC Schrader valve core removal kit shown here allows you to replace the valve cores on both the high and low ports of your car’s AC system.

You’ll need the kit and replacement valve cores. You can remove the old one and take it to any auto parts store to match it up with a replacement. Or you can buy an assortment kit and have everything you need, eliminating the need to run to the store.
