If you’re having problems with your Honda Civic TPS, Honda makes you buy the entire throttle body. That can cost almost $300.
Why buy the entire throttle body when you just need the TPS?
That’s crazy, since the problem is just the sensor. Standard Motor Parts now offers a Honda Civic TPS repair kit for about $40. Just drill out the rivets holding the factory TPS in place and install the new sensor and gasket. Then drive in the new self-drilling screws. Recalibrate the system and you’re good to go.
