Locate the right fuse using this 2001 Silverado Fuse Diagram
The 2001 Chevrolet Silverado has three fuse boxes. The underhood fuse box is located in the engine compartment on the driver’s side near the battery. The main instrument panel fuse box is located on the driver’s side edge of the instrument panel under a cover, and the center instrument panel fuse/relay block is located underneath the instrument panel to the left of the steering column. There are 59 fuse slots in the Underhood fuse box. The chart shows only 10 to speed up load time. Here’s how to find the fuse and circuit you want.
1) Change the number of entries showing (in the Show Entries Box) to 100 and scroll the list.
2) Enter the name of the component you’re searching for in the Search box.
3) Use the Next/Previous buttons at the bottom of the table

2001 Silverado Instrument Panel Fuse Diagram
A fuse extractor is mounted to the fuse block access door. Use it to remove and replace fuses. Spare fuses are also located on the fuse box access door.
If the fuse extractor is missing, remove the fuse by placing your thumb and index finger on the left and right sides of the fuse and wiggling it up and out of the fuse box.
