Chevrolet Cruz Radio off, service traction system, service stabilitrack and steering

GM has issued a service bulletin #14311B Special Coverage to address a defective negative battery cable on all 2011-15 Chevrolet Cruze vehicles. The negative battery terminal may have insufficient crimp pressure, causing it to develop high internal resistance. As a result, the voltage drop the radio to turn off, a Service Traction System, Service Stabilitrack, Service Steering, Battery Saver Active messages to appear, along with an ABS light or message. In addition, you may also lose the turn signal clicking sound when using the turn signals. The interior lights may flicker. The power steering may stop working.

GM has issued special coverage to replace the negative battery cable. The coverage is free and the warranty period for this fix has been extended to 10 years or 120,000 miles.
