Make a double inverted brake line flare Part 1
How to make a double inverted brake line flare
Making a double inverted flare using a conventional flaring tool is a three step process. This is my least favorite way to make brake line flares. I show two other methods and they are much easier and produce more consistent flares.

Load the brake line into the vice
Locate the proper size punch, turn it upside down and lay it on the vice. Load the brake line in the vice so it’s equal in height to punch. Tighten the base/vice wingnuts until the brake line is fully secured.
Place the punch and swivel onto the vice and turn the lever

Turn the lever and force the punch down onto the brake line. This will fold the brake line lip over itself.
Remove the punch and complete the flare
