Make a double inverted brake line flare Part 2
How to make a double inverted brake line flare Part 2
Making a double inverted flare using a Titan Tools 51535 Double Flaring Tool tool is a three step process. This is a much easier way to make flares than with a conventional double flaring tool.
WARNING: This tool is line-size specific! That means it will only work with 3/16″ brake lines and it only makes double/inverted flares. If you have other size brake line or need a bubble or mushroom style flare, this tool will NOT work for you. You’ll need the S.U.R.&R. tool in the link below. It makes all the flare types of 4 tubing sizes.
See this post on how to flare brake lines with the S.U.R.&R. PFT409 Piston Grip Flaring Tool Kit
Purchase the Titan Tools 51535 Double Flaring Tool tool

Load the brake line into the die
Screw the depth gauge into the die. Then slide the brake line into the die until it hits the depth gauge. Tighten the two die bolts to secure the brake line.
Remove the depth gauge and insert the inverting punch

Lubricate the inverting punch with the provided lube. Hold the handle and screw in the inverting punch until it bottoms out
Flip the punch and complete the flare
