Which 4-way AC manifold gauge should you buy
Check out this 4-Way AC Manifold Gauge Set from OrionMotorTech
It works with R410a R22 R134a Refrigerant
It’s impossible to fully diagnose and maintain your car’s AC system using just the single gauge on a DIY recharge kit. To do it right, you need an ac manifold gauge set. That allows you to compare high and low pressures to get an idea of how the system is working. See this post for more information on AC pressure gauge readings and what they mean. And see these posts for the full complement of AC testing and diagnostic methods.
A great manifold gauge set for an affordable price
This 4 Way AC Manifold Gauge Set from OrionMotorTech.com works with R410a R22 R134a Refrigerants. The set is pro grade and is reasonably priced at $55.
The 4 way AC manifold gauge set allows you to stay connected to the vacuum pump and refrigerant cans without disconnecting hoses and possibly losing refrigerant.
Here’s how to connect the refrigerant hoses
Quick connect connectors with shut-off valves included
Hose valves prevent refrigerant loss
Each hose has a valve to prevent loss of refrigerant when disconnecting from the vacuum pump, ports or refrigerant bottle. This is a very important feature. If the hoses don’t have valves, you not only lose refrigerant every time you disconnect, but you also have to purge the gauge set every time you install it. If you don’t purge the gauge, you’ll add air to the system. Since an R-134a system only has a tolerance of 1-2-oz. of refrigerant, you can easily undercharge your system if the hoses empty out when you disconnect.
Can tapper included
Connect the yellow hose to a 30-lb refrigerant supply or use the can tapper to connect DIY refrigerant cans.
