ABS light on Traction Control Off, C0045 Or C0050, Chevrolet Equinox, Pontiac Torrent

GM has issued a technical service bulletin (TSB) PIT4403A to address a problem with the ABS and traction control systems on 2006-07 Chevrolet Equinox and Pontiac Torrent vehicles. If you have an ABS or Traction off indicator or trouble codes C0045 Or C0050, check out the connection at the rear wheel speed sensor connector. The problem may be caused by poor pin connections. Check for proper pin alignment and proper connection to the socket. Clean and adjust as needed. Then reconnect and clear codes. If the codes do not return, the problem is solved. If they do, replace the sensor.
