Chrysler service bulletin details the fix for P0455 code on Jeep and Dodge

Chrysler has issued service bulletin 25-002-15 REV. B to address a P0455 code on the Jeep Dodge vehicles listed below. The check engine light on these vehicles can illuminate and when scanned, reveal P0455 and P0456 codes.

P0455 EVAP System Large Leak
P0456 EVAP System Small Leak

Chrysler has determined that a defective evaporative emissions purge valve hose is causing the problem due to a split in the hose. The split prevents the system from sealing properly so the computer thinks you have a leak.

2015 (WK) Jeep Grand Cherokee
2015 (WD) Dodge Durango
The bulletin further applies to vehicles built on or after November 16, 2014 (MDH 1116XX) and on or before January 17, 2015 (0117XX).
