Brakes drag – Ford Ford has issued a service bulletin to address a Brakes dragging condition on 2007 Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX vehicles. Brakes grabbing Colorado Canyon pickup

My brakes grab on my Colorado Canyon pickup GM reports a problem with the rear brake shoes glazing over and grabbing or dragging against the brake drum. The self adjusters are to blame. GM has come out with a replacement star wheel adjuster for the left side only (part #19133371). On the right side, GM wants you to use a high speed grinder (like a Dremel) with a cut off wheel and cut off every other tooth on the star wheel. Then reassemble and adjust the shoes.
