A Complete Guide to Bosch Brake Pads

In addition to manufacturing Bosch brake pads and rotors, the Bosch Automotive Division of Robert Bosch GmbH produces ADAS , Filters, Starters and Alternators, Batteries, Diesel Parts, Gasoline Fuel Systems, Steering Systems, Body Electronics, Engine Management, Spark Plugs, and Wiper Blades. The Bosch Automotive Division revenue in 2019 was approximately $51.9 billion.

Bosch is an aftermarket supplier of brake pads, meaning they’re not a Tier 1 brake pad supplier to any carmakers.

My personal opinion of Bosch brake pads

I’ve used Bosch brake pads and rotors. I think they’re decent quality. However, for the same money, I prefer Wagner OEX brake pads because they’re built on galvanized steel backing plates with a mechanical attachment system instead of glue. So they don’t rust like painted black steel pads.
